Binary and Ternary Form

2nd graders are learning about Binary and Ternary forms in music class.  

To learn about these forms, we first listened to "Greensleeves" which is in binary form.

Then we listened to "Twinkle Twinkle" which in in Ternary form.

Finally we learned a dance to "Jingle Bell Polka," which was also in Ternary form.
